Felonious assault

A thistle to the Republican candidates for secretary of state - Robert Dopf and Chuck Allison - for saying ex-felons should be denied the right to vote. We aren't taking sides in this race, but anyone running for the job of state elections chief shouldn't want to limit voting rights. Once felons have completed sentences, they shouldn't be punished for the remainder of their lives by having a vital citizenship right denied.
