Mauro Fundraiser/Rally a Huge Success

 

(Des Moines, IA) – Polk County Auditor Michael Mauro, the Iowa Democratic nominee for Secretary of State, held an extremely successful fundraiser/rally last night in Des Moines.

 

“I am deeply honored that so many supporters came to the event on such a beautiful evening” Mauro stated. “Our campaign has centered on Iowa values and protecting our voting system and voter integrity.”

 

The event, Mauro’s annual Pasta and Politics dinner, was attended by well over 350 individuals, many of whom were standing along the walls.

 

Supporters heard speeches from Polk County Supervisor John Mauro, Secretary of State and Gubernatorial nominee Chet Culver, Congressman Leonard Boswell and Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack.
